Analyses the theoretical demands for total heat recovery of a gas boiler considering the characteristics of natural gas and influencing factors of the boiler thermal efficiency. Summaries domestic and abroad studies on condensing heat recovery of the gas boiler, and points out the key to efficient total heat recovery is to achieve a low-temperature cold source and high heat transfer efficiency. Provides a new heat recovery system combining absorption heat pump with direct-contact heat exchanger based on the condition of high return temperature for heating system in Beijing. This system can recover both sensible and condensing heat of flue gas without the weakness of conventional heat recovery technology. An actual case analysis shows that this technology has availability and economic efficiency.
